The Mission of First Coast Women's Services is "empowering women to make informed choices about their pregnancy."
From their Mission Statement: "Our purpose is to prevent the tragedy of abortion by offering truthful education, emotional support, and practical assistance to individuals who are facing unplanned pregnancies. We present sexual abstinence as a positive lifestyle for singles and provide opportunity for healing and restoration to those who have been hurt by abortion. We share the love of Jesus in a caring non-judgmental environment. Services are free of charge and confidential, and we receive no government funding."

Pinewood Church has partnered with First Coast Women's Services for many years, and have supported specific fundraising efforts through the annual Baby Bottle campaign, as well as the "Celebrate the Gift of Life" Baby Shower in 2023. This month, all LifeChange proceeds will directly benefit FCWS and the families they support. In addition, the Baby Bottle Campaign will run throughout the month of January.

First Coast Women's Services firmly believes in the power of prayer and asks that you join them in prayer for "our community, for the clients we see, and for the staff and volunteers of First Coast Women’s Services."

FCWS has an active Prayer Text Team, and welcomes the addition of new members to this intercessory group, who is alerted of urgent prayer requests for clients who have visited or are activietly visiting a FCWS center.
