Thank you for taking time out of your Sunday morning routine to help serve and be a part of what God is doing here at Pinewood Church.
By volunteering for the VIP team, you are helping to fulfill two of our four "Loves" which comes from our Church vision statement.
1. Love God. - Seek. God. First. This is Jesus' command to us, "And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength." - Mark 12:30 ESV. When you wake up on Sunday mornings to serve, pray. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide and direct your thoughts and coversations you'll be having that day. Ask Him to continue to give you a heart that is full of joy and gladness to serve, so that you can welcome people as they come in. Ask Him to open people's hearts to recieve the Gospel that day before people even step onto campus.
2. Love One Another. - When we seek God first in ALL that we do, we can't help but get His heart for people. Jesus says, "34. A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. 35. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:34-35 ESV. We not only desire for people to know the Lord, but that they are able to sense His presense and feel loved. Remember, you will be one of the first people that anyone will interact with when people arrive on campus. This is why spending time with God is so crucial because you never know what kind of hope you can be to someone coming in.
This. is. HUGE! You will have the opportunity to help someone feel loved and welcomed by serving at many of our greeting locations around campus on Sunday mornings. Our goal is not to just be a smiling face as people walk in, but we want to be an example of the Love of Jesus to everyone that comes through those doors.

Step 1: Download the "Planning Center Services" app.
Step 2: Once downloaded, check your email for your first planning center request. In the email, it will present the time, date, and postion you will be serving at for the Sunday that you are scheduled. Towards the bottom of the email, it will have an "accept" or "decline" button. Click "accept" then you will be taken to "planningcenteronline.com" to setup your password for your account.
Step 3: Once the password is set up, open the "Planning Center Services" app and type in your email address and password to login.
Step 4: Once logged in, you should see the service that you clicked "accept" for back in the email. If the service isn't accepted, you may do so at this time by tapping on the "accept" button.
Step 5: Now that you have the app, watch the videos below to see how to accept weekly requests AND how to set up block out dates for weeks that you will be out of town/unavailble.
